Putting the Cottage in Order

Much sprinkling of grass seed, cleaning of windows, stacking of shelves, posting of post, and typing of letters today. Getting ready for summer-time. Birds are busy waking us up at 5.30am with their 'We're bonking like rabbits' singing. If you'll pardon the mixed metaphor there. Even the Peacocks at work are strutting their stuff (in fact, two have already laid eggs)! A few days of rain, and all the trees have gone green, my first sowing of grass-seeds has erupted from the lawn, and everything is reaching for the light.
