We went to Blackpool this weekend, which is a bit of a 'Pilgrimage to Tackyiness' for us, but nostalgic because I worked there for several years and we always enjoyed a night out in this sleazy run-down resort (it's not *that* bad!). I booked us in a 'fantasy themed' B&B and we ended up the only guests, so got a choice of Roman, Japanese, Egyptian ... so we chose the Indian room. LOL. There were billowing sheets up on the ceiling as well :-)
